Vintage blush wedding inspiration - featured in style me pretty
This shoot was styled in Cecil Green Park in Vancouver. Our focus was to enhance the already beautiful and elegant features of the mansion. Inspired by the beautiful sunsets we often see at the end of summer, we chose a warm palette of gold, blush, and taupe to compliment our vision for the shoot.
Everything came together beautifully, and we couldn’t have done it without all of the other wonderful vendors involved in this shoot.

Coastal quartz and gemstone inspiration - featured in grey likes weddings
When the talented Camilla Anchisi invited us to join her on this shoot as principal stylist, we jumped at the opportunity. This shoot was west coast themed and the collaboration turned out beautifully. We were able to feature some of my favourite Taffete Designs pieces including our dusty blue draping, navy blue goblets, gold leaf chargers, Tuscan lanterns and brass candlestick holders. From this shoot I gained a personal friend in Camilla. I was sad when she relocated to Italy, but things have a funny way of working out if they are meant to be. Once my fiancé and I became engaged we decided to get married in Italy, and so Camilla is the person we have chosen to document our own special day.
Cozy candlelit lodge wedding - featured in style me pretty
One of our all time favourite weddings that we’ve worked on was Aaliyah & Christian's wedding in September 2015. This wedding took place at a gorgeous venue - Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler, BC, Canada. We met Ally of Gumboot Glam at a photo shoot where she was featured as a model. She was lovely from the get go and we were thrilled to be the designers of her wedding. From conception to execution we loved being a part of this wedding. Seeing your vision come to life is always rewarding, but seeing your client spill tears of joy is another thing altogether.
As always, it takes a village, and there were many other wonderful vendors involved in this wedding.
